Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website scriptcollector.com (the “Website”) and the desktop Adobe CEP extension known as “My Script Collector” (the “Software”), operated by My Script Collector (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing the Website, downloading the Software, starting a free trial, or purchasing a license, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website or the Software.

Description of the Service

My Script Collector is a desktop Adobe CEP extension designed for use with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and other supported Adobe applications. The Software is delivered electronically as a digital download only.

We offer a 30-day free trial and a one-time lifetime license. There is no subscription. The Software is not sold on physical media.

License Grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees (if any), we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use the Software as follows:

• You may install and use the Software on up to three (3) computers that you own or control.
• You may use the Software in commercial projects.
• The license is personal to you and may not be shared with others.
• You receive a license to use the Software; you do not acquire ownership of the Software.

Sharing, transferring, renting, leasing, or reselling your license or the Software is prohibited.

Free Trial

We may offer a free trial of the Software for thirty (30) days. During the trial period, the Software is provided solely for evaluation purposes under these Terms.

When the trial ends, continued use of the Software requires purchase of a lifetime license, unless we expressly state otherwise. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the trial offering at any time.

Lifetime License

A “lifetime license” means a one-time purchase that grants you the right to use the then-current version of the Software under these Terms for as long as we make the Software available and you comply with these Terms.

A lifetime license is not a subscription and does not guarantee that the Software will remain compatible with future Adobe applications, operating systems, or hardware indefinitely, or that updates will be provided forever.

Payments

Prices for the Software are displayed on the Website or at the point of purchase. By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment to be processed through our payment provider.

Unless otherwise required by law, all fees are payable in advance, and delivery of the Software occurs electronically after successful payment or download authorization.

Refund Policy

Refund requests are handled according to our Refund Policy.

In summary, eligible refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase and must include your Order ID. After that period, refunds are generally not available. Please review the Refund Policy page for full details.

Intellectual Property

The Website, the Software, and all related content, branding, code, documentation, and materials are owned by My Script Collector or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Restrictions on Use

You agree that you will not, and will not permit others to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except to the limited extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, or otherwise transfer the Software or your license to any third party;
• Share, copy, publish, or make the Software available for download by others;
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software;
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent license, trial, or security mechanisms;
• Use the Software in any unlawful manner or for any unlawful purpose.

Software Updates

We may, at our discretion, provide updates, patches, or new versions of the Software. Updates may be required for continued compatibility or security.

Unless we state otherwise, updates made available to licensed users are covered by these Terms. We do not guarantee that updates will be released on any particular schedule or that the Software will be maintained indefinitely.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and the Software are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Adobe application version, operating system, or configuration.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Script Collector and its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Website or the Software.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the license giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms, including by sharing, reselling, redistributing, or reverse engineering the Software.

Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and destroy all copies in your possession or control. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Website or the Software after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
